Not much to say about today's strip, it's more of a stall tactic while Joey tries to figure out some more lame jokes to fill up the daily strip. Really sad. 😢

More idiotic nonsense today. These 3 clowns show up out of nowhere and Elbert Einstein acts like it's an everyday occurrence on the farm. Instead of asking who they are, the 2 idiots start a 1st Grade level back and forth. Tomorrow I expect they will move on to "your Mama wears combat boots". Then Oaf asks Ooola if the original Einstein was so immature, as if she would know. Mr. Hamlin must be rolling over in his grave. 🤦♂️

Well, it appears Little Oop has the full run of the house now. Fits right in. No idea however where he got and why he thinks an old shoe, a snail, a fish and what looks like a sponge all blended up in a blender (he really picked up using modern kitchen items quickly) would cook into something edible. I even noticed a fly above the blender in panel 4. Also, Penelope seems to be wearing a shirt with the Playboy Bunny on it, Seems a bit young to be sporting that but whatever. Just another day of nonsense, as we have come to grudgingly accept as par for the course. Very sad indeed. This lame crap makes the Bender's Sunday recaps look like fine art comparatively.

Well, I certainly hope this silly episode turns out to be something interesting. Not likely though. Oop at least does a callback to the idiotic bus trip they took awhile back. Since it was stated that this version of Einstein would likely not have grown up thinking about relativity, he would more like be thinking of increasing agricultural crop yields and animal husbandry. Unlikely that Joey would have any clue about farming, etc. however so I imagine we're in for more off the wall nonsense. 😒

The saga of the Scrawled, I mean, Clawed Oracle continues in today's strip (https://www.gocomics.com/alley-oop/2020/09/25). On Monday, the fat one spoke of the benefit of selecting a cat as his "earthly form". Today, though, he says that the lack of a thumb stymies him from solving the Einstein clone problem. Can two strips just days apart ever be so inconsistent with each other? If he is indeed an all-powerful being (a "God", I guess"), why select a body that minimizes your power? Still no explanation of the convoluted excursion to the 33rd Century other than to throw in a few unfunny Skee ball jokes. And the really bad writing can't even be redeemed by halfway interesting art which has been bizarrely awful lately. It's hard not to get vertigo by looking at the backgrounds today and which seems to have affected Ooola's head in the second panel where her face is semi-detached from her head. Lemon could certainly use a class in perspective but ...

More silly nonsense that we have come to expect from this hapless "writer". Apparently the "joke" is that Doc cloned Einstein, but he cloned Einstein as a young kid. A very easy mistake to make, it's likely that that idiot Mentis had some input on that decision. Apparently Ooola wasn't around to advise him. Hoo boy, what a lame bunch of crap! 😢

I hate to say I predicted this but on September 11, I posted: " I think that this is the third one in this epic tale but it wouldn't surprise me if we see another one before this mess wraps up." And sure enough, we get one last skee-ball joke. Thanks, Joey. That's the highlight in today's strip ( https://www.gocomics.com/alley-oop/2020/09/16). Ooola, for some reason, asks if they are going to leave the lime slime behind. Huh? How would time travel remove the goo? Not that it matters but this panel just seems like filler.

Another day, another dumb "joke". https://www.gocomics.com/alley-oop/2020/09/15 Oop has truly become mentally challenged. Very sad. At least it appears they are fading from the VR thingy so who knows where and what exciting adventure they are about to embark (or stumble) upon. Probably none, as usual. Why spoil a perfect game? 😒

GO Comics has a lot of kid-centric comic strips. Always popular, readers can daily view the antics of "One Big Happy", "Heart", "Big Nate", "Grand Avenue" or revel in the classic reruns of "Peanuts", "Cul de Sac", and"Calvin and Hobbes." Syndicate boss John Glynn thought we needed yet another kid's strip and the creative Lemsay team delivered "Little Alley Oop" with the antics of a really, tiny middle schooler, Alley Oop, growing up during the Bone Age of Moo. But the creative juices dried up quickly and Joey Sayers, never comfortable with Moovian stories of any kind, decided to shift gears by having the young Mr. Oop magically transported to the 21st Century. Initially looking like it might become a fish-out-of-water story line, it quickly devolved into a typical, middle schooler (still a really tiny one). Yeah, he wears bear shorts and likes to sleep on rocks but nobody in the modern world seems too c...

In today's zany episode (https://www.gocomics.com/alley-oop/2020/09/12), Phil cuts to the chase and asks Doc to go back in time and change history. Nevermind that Hamlin long ago established that Oop and friends could not change historical events. Otherwise, why wouldn't our heroes try to stop the first slave ship from reaching American shores or kill Hitler to save millions of lives? But Joey has remade the strip and tossed aside the underpinnings of this once great strip. The most important man, who dresses like a janitor, in the world has been waiting for some random, time-travellers to show up at this particular amusement park and seek out this specific fortune teller in order to end this calamity. And, wonder of wonders, after twelve hundred years, the long-awaited time-travellers happen to be our favorite caveman with his two henchmen. But one wonders why Phil doesn't have his own time-machine to take a blast to the past? I mean, in the 21st century, everybody and hi...
