OK, so the trip to the Civil War was actually planned to have Hamberden get killed. Pretty devious use of the time travel cube. And now that Doc has done the hitman job, he's immediately recruited to do another one. Slippery slope indeed.

In the hands of a skilled adventure author, this could lead to an interesting tale. Unfortunately Glynn neglected to find one and settled for a two bit hack to attempt to come up with something, anything, that resembles an interesting tale. Oh well, ya get what ya pay for. 🤢
