On today's Alley Oop - 08 April 2020 - What The Luck?!

All I can say about today's installment is : What The Luck? And speaking of Luck, we all need Max Luck to survive this neverending nincompoopy nonsense of an extremely extraterrible extraterrestrial tale.
How does Wonmug know that it's not an 8-track player, but a shield? He's seeing that alien space ship (looks more like a little space boat) for the first time. How does he know that's a... Oh wait. I guess the controls are labelled in English, just like the Luck-o-meter. And I guess the doc doesn't know that one needn't essentially go through the asteroid belts to travel through space because the asteroids are all almost confined and concentrated around a particular plane in 3-D space.

Also, an advanced alien space ship would've built-in detectors to detect space objects. Also, it would be extremely stupid to travel the space through a little space pod instead of a bigger space ship, you know, like one which has food and other resources necessary to survive the long journey. Space travel is not like taking a two wheeler and going to your friend's place downtown, ya know. But what can we expect from the comic whose Sunday installments trivialise science fiction by having a child create a portable time machine in her mom's basement.
I dunno what comic this is anymore, but I'm sure as hell it ain't Alley Oop. With Alley Oop himself sidelined as a supporting clown character, with silly stories, absent adventures, and puerile pointless preposterous poppycock perpetually projected at poor readers every day, one has to wonder if there's some sort of an extraterrestrial conspiracy behind all this.
So, let's ask our excellent extraterrestrial expert about this matter and see what he's got to say about it.
