On today's Alley Oop - 7 April 2021

Oh, great. We get one more day of this boring saga. Today Lady W. revels that she invited her genius guests so that she could steal their inventions. No idea how she knew they would bring their inventions or how she would do it. Something about using the Faraday, excuse me, Faraweek cage to help her steal it because she isn't as fast as she used to be. Say what? Does any of that make any sense? I guess Joey thinks if you throw enough gobbledygook against the wall, some of it might just stick. Either that or her most loyal fans are just too dumb to notice the lack of logic in her writing. As usual, she certainly doesn't even try to make one day consistent with another day. Back on February 26, Joey had Lady Snobington tell them that she hadn't invited them. But today she says that she did. Geeze, Joey, it's not that hard to keep the story line straight is it?

The a-MOO-sing world of Alley Oop

Alley Oop is a syndicated comic strip created December 5, 1932, by American cartoonist V. T. Hamlin, who wrote and drew the strip through four decades for Newspaper Enterprise Association. Hamlin introduced a cast of characters, and his story lines entertained with a combination of adventure, fantasy, and humor. On April 9, 1939, Alley Oop was accidentally time-transported from the prehistoric Moo to the 20th century, when Dr. Wonmug was testing his time machine. Until then, the comic featured Alley Oop's adventures in the prehistoric Moo. That's almost where Alley's time travelling adventures began. After an adventure in the contemporary modern age (the 1930's when the strip was being published in the U.S.A.), Alley soon began his time travelling adventures by volunteering to help the good Dr. Wonmug with his further research with his time machine. Above cover of a comic depicts Alley Oop's adventures in ancient Egyp, with queen Cleopatra.
