On today's Alley Oaf - 21 January 2021

 So, today we get some manner of a crossover comic. That's actually not too bad, considering how this has been going. Probably the best day since this NuOop started. Actually *slightly* humorous. Probably just a one off and we'll return to the silly ass nonsense tomorrow unfortunately however.

Apparently Doc had a full beard, even at an early age?  So, while they are Little Oaf's age, they are at least full size. Having Penelope show up and says that Little Oaf was supposed to be riding his bike puts an interesting twist in there. So, is there the other Little Oaf actually out riding his bike and will he show up, causing even more confusion? In the hands of a talented writer it could be an interesting twist. Not likely with this one however, sadly. 😩

Perhaps that's going to be the way they get back from quantum size to full size. Of course there's that bug that makes them full size, but maybe 6 or so years old. Release 2.0 of Plank's Dimension Traveler may patch that bug and they'll return to the usual idiotic nonsense however.

Happy Anniversary!

It is hard to believe but we have started the sixth year of the Jonathan Lemon - Alison Sayers team-up, which I affectionately call "Lemsay". Back on January 7, 2019, the first daily from this team appeared. It wasn't like the Benders, Jack and Carole, had set the world on fire with their plodding story lines, labored dialog, and artwork that became noticeably worse every day.  Fans thought that the strip could not get any worse but nobody knew exactly what to expect whne the Benders retired. The very first strip showed that things weren't going to be  anything like what long-time fans were hoping to see. The first panel (below) showed a poorly drawn  Oop laying under a tree that looked more like a modern era tree than anything like the swampy trees that had previously populated the Bone Age. We soon found out that Oop had been sleeping and had awakened in an alternate universe, a universe where the only difference is that this universe has no tacos. Hilarious, right...
