A Bedrockish Bar on today's Alley Oop - 23 July 2020

Ooola and a play director walk into a Bedrock Bar. The bartender asks what'd ya want? Ooola says some whiskey, on the rocks! Haw Haw Haw! Okay, that wasn't today's lame joke in Alley Oaf, but it was better, wasn't it?

Wootie and Unca, your fears have indeed come true. Yesterday you pointed out that there wasn't a bar in Moo ever, as per the true Alley Oop canon... But in this Bedrocky Moo, there is! And guess what, there's more retcons galore. Ooola also used to work here. Wow.

So far, we all thought that the Bedrocky Moo, plagiarised right off The Flintstones, was only a part of the Sundays Little Oaf installments. But now we know that it's going to be a new crappy canon in the dailies too, in this stupid sitcomic. I was afraid of this.

And what do they serve in this bar? Ancient ale? Bone age beer? Stone age scotch on-the-rocks? Cretaceous cocktails? Or is it just herbal hot drinks? And why does Ooola think that guy's a creep? Just because he called her for a drink in a public bar? It's not like he called her for a drink in his private mansion cave or something. So far I haven't seen him act anything that resembles creepy. I guess according to this woke writer, a guy asking a woman to join him for drinks at a public joint is creepy. Does this writer even know how normal human beings interact? Looks like the writer is bringing more of her man-hating prejudices into her "stories" here. (Notice the inverted commas. Stories? Haw haw!)

I recall Hamlin's Ooola joining other guys and even dating them with no issues. She knew how to handle herself if they got creepy. And if she got into trouble, she knew that good ol' Oop would come to her rescue. Maybe this newfangled fOoola knows that the newfangled Alley Oaf the emasculated can't even rescue a cat from a tree.

One can only wonder what load of tripe is up next in this terrible tripeload of trash. And it's not even funny. the punchline today was that Ooola worked there before and the bartender spits in your drink if he thinks you're a creep. Oh har har. It's amazing that someone gets away constantly after writing such raw rubbish each day. This silly sitcomic is an utterly unoriginal bulk of blithering baloney which just lazily appropriates elements from well known fictions. That's all I can bear say for today, friends.
