V. T. Hamlin’s Dinosaurs: Dinny’s Family Album in Color!

I found this blog, which highlights Hamlin's Sunday work where he provided a write-up and drawing of dinosaurs. Back in the 1930's, Sunday comic strips were an entire page. The artist often produced a separate strip, called a "topper", which was about the size that most Sunday strips are produced today. For example, if you read "Barney Google", you would see "Bunky" or "Mickey Mouse", "Silly Symphonies" or "The Medieval Castle" on "Prince Valiant". Hamlin did something a little bit different as his were usually a really large panel cut out from the rest of the page. For a time this feature was called "Dinny's Family Album".

If you go to the blog at https://marswillsendnomore.wordpress.com/2012/06/11/v-t-hamlins-dinosaurs-dinnys-family-album/, you can see examples of this feature.
