A clip of Hamlin walking, resembling what Oop would have looked like
Awhile back I mentioned a home movie clip of Hamlin walking with a bit of a swagger, in which he, to my eye, resembles what Oop would look like. Unca's recent find of some mention of Graue's artwork reminded me of that.
As Graue had said in an earlier clip, when Hamlin drew the strip, he would often make a face to get the look of what Oop should look like if he was angry, quizzical, etc so he could get the facial expressions of Oop to look accurate. Oop was really an alter ego of Hamlin's in many ways. This clip is from the Caveman DVD. Much thanks to Cartoonosaurus for the link and reminding me of it. The narrator is Hamlin's daughter.
